YVONNE AND HER FAMILY NEED HELP TODAY

Yvonne has been homeless and living in a motel for sometime. She does receive disability checks but those funds only cover her until about mid-month with the summer rates. With rates even higher over the Holiday, she is out of funds. Some rates were as high as $180 vs the average $105 she had been paying. She has made a motel reservation for Monday 07/09 - 07/16. Understanding her situation, they gave her a discount at the rate of $674 for 7 nights. She has paid thru tomorrow morning and must check out by 10am. She is desperately asking for the help of our village. Without your help, she will be walking out the door of the motel and on the street with what she is able to carry.  With her is her daughter, who is mentally challenged and her service animals. There is zero tolerance for anyone on the motel property that has not paid for a room, so she can not sit and wait for help.

She has been trying tirelessly to get help from the crisis center and to find a rental. The crisis center will only help once she is approved. She looks for rentals daily. She has turned in several, but those she turned in were approved to someone that turned in an application prior to her. Everyone is a first come first serve basis. Some may ask why does she not move. The doctors and therapists for her daughter are local and so is the school she attends, where she is trying to better education in animal behavior. She has to bus to and from school and walks miles every day to get to and from that transportation, not getting home till late evening. She does have a daughter and a son in law near by but she can not live with them because they are in assisted living. Her son in law does help as best he can to move her from motel to motel when hes not working which is difficult because he works 6 days a week to take care of his family.  I have researched agencies to help Yvonne, but there are many not available to her because of the type of disability from SS she is on. I have spoken to apartment management companies in the area trying to get her in the door first. They say it is up to her to get her application dropped off and applications are approved on a first come first serve basis. 

This situation is not a easy fix by any means. Yvonne is doing her very best and I am doing my best to support her. Today she desperately needs the funds I am asking for or she will be in the street tomorrow morning. 

For those that may question, why is there a second fundraiser, You caring has merged with go fund me and I am not able to update or continue the fundraiser noted above per you caring discussions, I have had via email.
