Gracie is a pit bull/hound mix stray that was waiting for me in my front yard. It's like she knew I was an animal rights activist and was going to keep her safe. She was limping and emaciated but a sweet girl and tired of running. After taking her to the vet the next day, we found out that she is 60 pounds and has a torn ACL. I have an appointment with her to see a surgeon but want to get to fundraising ASAP.

I can not financially get her leg surgery and spayed right now, so I am looking to others to please donate anything you can to help me get her this as soon as possible. This will make her more adoptable. I have until the end of July per my landlord to try to find her a fostster/home, so I would like to have her surgery done in the next week, so I can have her healing up where she feels safe.

If you could also, please spread around her Facebook page to anyone that you think might be able to foster/adopt her or any groups that you think others might see her and want to help, I would be so grateful. I'm doing most of this on my own, after not getting much response from rescues in the area. The one that responded is full, as most of the others are, I'm sure.

Gracie is such a sweet soul. She's getting along great with my pug and foster chihuahua. She loves to cuddle and curl up in her bed. She does not let her injury get her down either. She loves to go on walks and probably would be great for someone who loves to run because it's easier for her to run, instead of going slower. Most of all, you can tell that she is thankful that I found her and happy being a part of my life right now. I so wish I could keep her but I can't! I want to find her the perfect family if I can or a foster that understands her breed.
