I need your help! On Tuesday, July 16th, I will be walking 15 miles from Wellfleet to Brewster as part of the 21st Annual Housing with Love Walk to raise funds for affordable housing programs on Cape Cod. Will you sponsor me and help reach my goal of raising $500 for CDP’s housing programs?

Every July for the past 21 years, advocates for affordable housing, led by our friend, Bob Murray, have walked the 103.6 miles from Provincetown to Falmouth and raised over $3.8 million for affordable housing agencies across the Cape. The walk, which takes place at the height of the summer season, also raises awareness of the challenges faced by many of my neighbors to find a safe, affordable and year-round place to live. Contributions of any amount will help me reach my goal and support the important work we do here at the Community Development Partnership. Our 66 units of affordable rental housing make a big difference of meeting the needs of less fortunate Cape Codders. However, many of our properties are in need of renovations to make them more energy efficient and lower the heating costs for our residents.
