Axel is the craziest, wildest, yet most full of love little hairball you'll ever meet. Despite being 11 Years Old he is very much a pup full of live and energy at his core, and he is always happy and willing to play. But he hasn't been feeling too well lately.
See, Axel has a big heart, metaphorically and literally, and
though he was able to live a normal life over the years, recently it
has caused issues with some of his other organs, in particular his
lungs, and it has gotten progressively worse recently.
In the span of just a few weeks he has gone from suffering from strong arrhythmia, to being hospitalized for a pulmonary edema and being able to survive it, to not wanting to eat and getting sicker, which has resulted in yet another string of hospitalizations.
This has, of course, not been cheap at all, if you throw medications, constant check-ups, X-Rays, visits to the cardiologist, pulmonologist, and more...it has caused severe financial strain upon us,
But Axel is a fighter. Like his parents, he is an immigrant from Venezuela who accompanied them in search of a new life and new adventures, and he has shown nothing but willingness to keep fighting and keep having more adventures. .
And as long as he wants to keep fighting, so do we will continue our fight to give him the good and happy life he deserves and more love than it is humanly possible, and you can help us achieve this by donating. Even the smallest amount counts to make our little boy healthy once more.
