I find myself in a position I never imagined I would be in – three weeks ago a dear friend health took a turn for the worse, and he was given six months to live. He is battling a terminal illness that has turned his life upside down at a young age of 54 yrs. He was told he no can longer work if he wants to see the next few months. Every passing day brings more pain, uncertainty, and fear. But amidst the darkness, there is a flicker of hope, a belief that the kindness of strangers like yourself can make a difference.

I am writing to humbly request your support during this incredibly difficult time, not for myself, but for my beloved friend, Mark, and his wife Sherry, who stands by his side with unwavering love and support. A few years ago, Mark and his wife Sherry, were granted full custody of their grandchild. While this decision was made of love and a desire to provide a stable and nurturing home for her, they did not foresee the devastating news. The decision was not one they took lightly. They understood that it would come with its own set of challenges, both emotionally and financially. However, the reality of his health is now taking an additional hit on their finances and since Mark found out he has a time limit, he’s biggest concern is the financial lost he is taking and major concern for what the future will hold for his wife and granddaughter. Despite their sacrifices and tireless efforts, they find themselves struggling to make ends meet and the financial strain only adds to the emotional weight of the illness. Financial hardship can take a toll on an individual's mental and emotional well-being.
