Leah is a 22-year-old, mixed-race, cash-poor mother of two young children from Snohomish County. She is a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault and is currently facing 20 years to life in prison for defending herself from her abuser.
Leah's loved ones and campaign are raising funds for her pre-trial needs, including hotel and meal costs during the trial, which is 80 miles from Leah’s home, and expected to last two weeks. Any additional funds will be used to support Leah's basic needs and those of her children.
