This fundraiser is on the behalf of Emaan, a Syrian refugee, who is living in Egypt with her three sisters and a very sick mother. 

This is their story (translated from Arabic): 

"Our mother is not able to survive here because we cannot afford it and her health is deteriorating every day because of liver and eye issues. She has very limited time. We are living in a tiny house with no stable roof and we are in too much debt to be able to support ourselves. There are no men in our family as my dad was killed in Syria during the war. I am the oldest sister, Enaan. None of us are able to go to school right now and it is very hard surviving as refugees because we get no support from the government. Please help us pay our debt that is the main thing because I will be prosecuted because I can't pay the debt and I owe to powerful people. Please help in any way. We want to survive and not be so fearful of life. Our mom doesn't have much time and we are scared of prosecution. We are hopeless. Please give us a chance."

Hearing Enaan and her family's story really broke my heart and it is so important to me that they get the help they need.
