We surpassed our goal to rebuild the structure. We have even generated enough funds to mostly complete the interior and other necessities. With just a bit more, we can actually make the house a home with furniture and clothing and much more! Please spread the word, just about a week left!

International Cadet 2/c Jackson Karama has returned home, on three week leave, to rebuild his familial home. His mother's home recently burned down in a fire and was completely destroyed. Cadet 2/c Karama only has 3 weeks of leave to hire help and complete the work. The estimated cost for the construction is about $8000.00. His classmates have contributed $3000.00 to help, but he must complete the work and pay the workers by June 18.

Please keep giving! I am pretty sure there is no insurance so
they still need furniture and clothes and all household items. The
additional $5k is just the house, so I will take donations until 18

Recent note from Jackson:
"[I have been] in Uganda for a week working on the house project. Its been a little more challenging than I thought and the building process took a while to start but it has started. They are making bricks and preparing the land where they will build it. Been able to buy most of the materials needed and hired construction workers to help build the house. In a week, we should have something that is presentable, so I can take pictures and send them."
