To our G&W Family, and all riders, can you please help one of our own? Boozefighter JJ "Goofy" Floren, Chapter 41 He was out putting up flyers for the upcoming toy run when a woman entered his lane, JJ swerved to avoid a head on collision, tire sank and it was on. He landed in someone's front yard, luckily for him the lady driving behind him saw the accident, stopped and found him down in a ditch. The person he avoided the collision with left the scene without ever even stopping. He is currently at Sparks hospital in Ft. Smith, Arkansas in recovery from his first unsuccessful surgery. At this time they have shared he will need to have reconstructive surgery, a complete shoulder replacement, the ball the rotator cuff sits on has broken off, the damage is too severe for the current hospital to handle, he has fractures to his wrist, again, unsuccessful initial surgery other than pins to stabilize. He has suffered a concussion and the cat scan reveals a blood clot on his brain. They await a break in the weather to life flight him to UAMS hospital in Little Rock. Currently we're under a winter storm warning with freezing rain, sleet & snow, which is inhibiting the flight. Anticipating at least 2 more days in Ft. Smith, then 1 week in hospital at UAMS. He will also have a long road ahead with rehabilitation. JJ works on a farm, physical labor. His bills will keep on coming even though he is unable to earn. Every little bit helps!
