Christoph here looking for immediate support for NEEDED Medical costs. Last time it was for my sweet Zora as I laid her to rest and now it is to help with skipping the horrendous waitlists for an MRI in BC. ANYWHERE from 6 months to 2 years.
As many of you know, navigating the healthcare system for urgent diagnostic imaging often comes with significant wait times here in British Columbia. My doctor recently informed me that I am looking at a minimum of 6 months—and likely longer—just to get the critical scans needed to properly diagnose and treat my condition(s).
COPD
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive lung condition—such as chronic bronchitis or emphysema—that causes persistent airflow blockage, making it increasingly difficult to breathe.
I am also dealing with severe pain in my right knee which was orginally thought to be Osteoarthritis, Now rulled out, an MRI is also required to determine the root cause. I am off work again for a minimum of 4 weeks while I await a physiotherapists referral and subsequent MRI scan as well as a cardiopulmonary test (CPET)
As I habve NO private insurance and I am looking to take a proactive step toward recovery and treatment, I am seeking support to cover private diagnostic imaging and immediate medical care directly right here in BC at 2 private clinics for both MRI scans and Physiotherapy on my knee
MY GOAL: $4,250 CAD

Specialist Consultations: Reviewing scan results directly with qualified physicians to establish a treatment plan.
Initial Medications & Out-of-Pocket Expenses: Covering immediate, non-covered prescription and recovery expenses.
(Note: I am also actively applying for available BC provincial assistance programs to offset these costs wherever possible, and I will keep everyone updated on every step of this journey.)

Cholesterol is up not too bad but it is up (Medications being issued to lower it) and I'm now diagnosed as being pre-diabetic
Requisition forms in for physiotherapy on my shoulder and a CPET test for Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test
