Hello!

Just wanted to thank any and everyone for even looking at this! It is a blessing to even have this platform to ask for help, as hard as asking is. 

So, around February of 2021 I was at work, -20° freezer at a warehouse, when I had a heart attack. Severe pain in my chest, arm, hard to breathe. Thought that was the scariest day of my life. Rushed to the hospital and hooked up to machines for days. When I was released and headed home with a return to work date, I was just happy to be alive. Spent the next few days relaxing with my girls and my wife. Just enjoying life, in less than 5 days, I had cerebral aneurysm that caused a full stroke and severe bleeding on the brain. Rushed to the hospital, again, straight into MRI and that is all I remember for over a week... That truly was the scariest moment of my life. 

After a month in the hospital, I was finally able to come home, couldn't go back to work, ever, which was seriously depressing. So, I filed for disability as soon as I was released. Still fighting for it to this day. Fast forward a few months, I had another rupture of the same aneurysm, this time my heart stopped during coiling as well as having a rupture in my nostril.

Fast forward to 2024, my wife left us, leaving me a single father of 2 gorgeous girls under 12. After she left, the girls and I moved in with my mother because of her failing health. I helped her to the best of my ability until October of last year when she passed from sepsis of the bone, muscle and brain. This left my girls and I in her home with a mortgage, that I don't know how I'm going to pay, a 25 year old truck that is starting to fail on me because I don't have the means or ability to take care of anymore, two girls that are my world that I'm struggling to take care of, with their mother in a completely different state living with her new boyfriend. And, to top it all off, earlier this year I was told that I have another aneurysm forming that they are hesitant to coil because of my heart stopping during the last one. So, that is... Yeah. Not to mention, they terminated our food stamps because, and I'll quote the DSS representative here, "you're not disabled enough if you're not on disability". 

It is a daily struggle but I have to keep moving forward and doing what I need to do to take care of these girls and keep them safe, happy and healthy.
