Help Us Stay Housed During Eviction (Pets Included)

Hi, I’m Damien. Me and my partner Adam are currently being evicted and we’re trying to raise funds so we don’t end up in a shelter and can keep our dog and cat with us.

A lot hit us at once this past year — job loss, medical issues, and a car that needs repairs. We also had a roommate who turned out to be abusive. Her behavior and sudden exit put us months behind on rent and bills. We never got financially caught up and now the eviction has gone through.

We’re not asking for help to stay in this apartment — we know it’s time to move on. What we need is a safe bridge so we don’t lose everything while we transition. Our goal is $3,000, which would help with:

• Motel stay during the move

• Food + basic supplies

• Storage unit for our belongings

• Car repair (battery/tire) for work + interviews

• Bus fare + job onboarding costs

• Pet food + vet paperwork if needed We’re both actively applying for jobs and talking with case managers.
