Hellooooo

I have looked for sponsorship to help with the costs of competing at the world championships in the Czech Republic, but alas nothing is forthcoming. I need help and I'm too stubborn to ask for it. I don't want to be a burden and I'm embarrassed that I'm in a position of financial lack. Again. I'm doing everything on a shoestring and sharing hotel rooms to reduce costs but realistically, I need help with accommodation, travel and food costs. After Czech Republic, I'm travelling back to Sweden to compete in their competition. I've been trying to get to Sweden since 2019, both times the trip was cancelled at the last minute due to unexpected circumstances. 

I've spent many years trapped at home following knee surgery complications and I want to get out into the world to experience it.  I'm fed up with being disabled and stuck in a rut from my situation, I am trying to get out of my own way and experience life for a  change, instead of surviving it. If you know, you know. Disabled doesn't mean you can't, you just learn to do it a different way. 

Will I win? Probably not. Does it matter? Not at all. Winning is taking the risk, stepping outside my comfort zone and proving that I can. That's worth everything. 

If you can spare a couple of quid, that would be awesome. I have a motorbike to sell, which hopefully will cover my outgoing costs for this trip. I am having a clear out and decluttering, there's things to sell to get funds. I'd much rather sell things than ask for money. Stubborn and proud, terrible combo. *sigh*
