We’ve taken in two foster bunnies who were being given away and in need of medical attention. Our goal is to have these cuties fixed, bonded, and adopted to a caring home. We would appreciate any support offered by our wonderful community.

We found two bunnies being given away for free online - one of those bunnies was clearly in need of medical attention and possibly in pain. They’re two unfixed males and therefore were being kept apart.

We decided to take them in temporarily, get them the medical attention they desperately needed, and then take the time to find them a home that would appreciate them. There were no questions asked about the home they were going to when we contacted their family, or when we picked them up. They were a part of that family for four years. 

The rabbit in need of medical help has dental issues, causing him pain and an inability to eat hay (which should be 80% of his diet). This could have been detrimental to his overall health if ignored for much longer. He’s since been neutered, had his teeth looked after, and is currently on three medications temporarily. We will soon be fixing his brother, as well. At that point, we will start a bonding process so they can be housed together. 
We are hoping the community can support us in their care, whether that be in donations or sharing our story so that we can find their forever family. They’re incredibly sweet and deserve a permanent family that will love them.
