Hello, I'm Bettina Puskas, and I'm reaching out to seek support for my mother, Marta, who is battling grade 3 neuroendocrine carcinoma caecum.

Just a year and a half ago, we lost my father to cancer, and as a family, we haven't fully processed that tragedy. Now, we find ourselves confronting another battle.

My mother, who has led a healthy lifestyle—never drinking, smoking, or consuming unhealthy food—has been diagnosed with a rare tumor in her coecum, an unexpected and inexplicable occurrence considering no history of cancer in our family lineage.

Despite regular health checks not indicating any issues just a year before, this diagnosis has left us bewildered and anxious.

Losing my mother prematurely is something I cannot fathom. While I understand everyone has their time, the "when" and "how" matter profoundly.

The doctor who conducted the tests has mentioned the possibility of specialized targeted therapy and immunotherapy, treatments that could significantly benefit my mother. Sadly, these treatments are scarce in our country, and the specific immunotherapy she needs isn't available here but can be accessed abroad.

To save my mother's life, we may need to travel and cover the expenses for her treatment out of pocket. This unforeseen financial burden is why I'm seeking more substantial help than I initially anticipated.

My mother's best chance against this disease lies in immunotherapy or targeted therapy, but our family, despite having decent jobs, cannot afford the treatment costs. Initially, we hoped to manage it ourselves, but the reality is beyond our means, leading us to seek assistance through fundraising.

I implore you to assist in giving my mother the opportunity to fight back and recover.
