Hey, recently I have been robbed of SGD5000 for paying a rent deposit to a very convincing scam for a rental property I was hoping to move to next month (in April). The scammer impersonated as an actual agent used their registration number, identification number as well as their profile picture.

I was shown a video tour of the property and was presented a very legitimate looking rent contract with details that were identical to the rent contracts I have seen before. Out of fear that the property was going to be rented out before I could even view it, I made the mistake of not viewing the property in person and signed that contract, and paid the deposit to the "landlord" which probably doesn't exist.

Right now I am very short on money and I hoping I can get help from friends I know.

Even now, I am still very reluctant to receive help financially from my friends but I do not see much way out of this. I would appreciate it a lot if I am able to receive donations from you.
