THE HOLIDAYS

For some of us it is a season of gratitude. We find ourselves reminded of the many blessings we have. The small things we take for granted; the loving eyes of a child as you tuck them in at night, or the night you stay up with your child just watching a movie or playing. The birds singing in the cool breeze. The color change of the trees. We are in the time of the Holidays now; where giving, hope and wishes for anew. 

Some of us though, experience great hardship and turmoil during these times. Some of us are experiencing devastating sadness, grief, anger, resentment, uncontrollable fights with the idea of suicide, and so on. Most of these fellow beings are too afraid to ask for help, for each of their own various reasons. We as people, a community of brothers and sisters should not turn our backs and hide when a brother or sister is in need. If we, as humans, wish to be able to travel outer and inner space together, we need to be opening our arms to EVERY brother and sister in need. 

I still see compassion and love in this world. I see us stepping in when we see an injustice. There are more and more us waking up everyday. I see beauty, I see kindness, I see LOVE. 

So during this time of giving, hope, compassion, and love, let me ask you something....

If you knew a little 8-year old girl who was unjustly stripped of her mother, and all that little girl wants is to go home with her mommy, would you help this little girl?

Our sister, Ashley Branson has been taken away from her daughter. She is in desperate, critical need of some financial support through this as 90% of her time is consumed with courts, therapy, visitations, etc. Between court costs, legal fees, visitation fees, and so on, it's quite rough for her. She can't work in her field of choice due to her current restrictions on being around children. 

For those that don't know, Ashley was unjustly arrested without any kind of Law Enforcement or Child Protective Services investigation into the allegations and claims made against her. She is being charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, child abuse, etc for giving her 8-year old daughter CBD (cannabidiol). Not only is this more than confusing to most of The People, but also those that are to enforce law and ultimately protect and serve The People. A Schedule I Controlled Substance is supposed to be reserved for compounds that have no medicinal value whatsoever. Not only is Cannabis a plant that contains a diverse array of compounds, it is definitely a medicinal plant. It is evident that even the federal government and pharmaceutical companies recognize Cannabis' medical efficacy and potential in their various patents on Cannabinoids and their various therapies. This was misinterpreted by the "accusor" and law enforcement as solely marijuana. CBD is the non-psychoactive compound in Cannabis sativa L. that acts as a counteractive to the psychoactive component and effects of THC. After Ashley and her boyfriend at the time were released from County Jail on PR Bonds, CPS came into the home to do an investigation into the case. It was of that CPS case worker's belief that Ashley was not breaking the law and following protocols in regards to keeping things locked away in separate rooms.

Under enormous stress, brainwashing, physical and emotional abuse, Ashley was persuaded to leave "fake" suicide letters (these were not fake at the time they were written by Ashley, and was supposedly being saved by her boyfriend), and ditch the state of Colorado and flee prosecution. After roughly 6 weeks of them being gone we, along with the help of Ashley and Zach's grandmother, were able to get Ashley on a train back home and turn herself in. She is currently out on a $10,000 Personal Recognizance Bond and awaiting trial.
