Hello friends!

My name is Yuliya Sofronova and I am making this campaign for my best friend Aleksandra Evtushenko.

-Past-

Sasha (Aleksandra) has been battling cancer for over a year last year. It hit us like lightning. The situation was already serious when she found out that she had cancer in her stomach (digestive system) and needed immediate help - chemotherapy and surgery. 

With all the financial help from all of you! (As Ukraine, besides being in the middle of the war right now, doesn’t have any health care help, and everything has to be paid out of pocket and right a way) She had an intensive care with chemotherapy before and after her surgery. Her surgery fell right on her Birthday, and her surviving that was compared to her second Birth.

We couldn’t do any of that without your generous help, we are so grateful. And she was happy in remission for over 6 month.

-Present-

Till a few days ago. After traveling all the way to Kiev (the capital of Ukraine) for another check up – she found out that cancer moved to her ovaries.

Wish days spend going over all incompassing test were discovered that it is IA Ovarian Cancer. Which means it's a very early stage and cancer is only in one of the ovaries. It's incredible that they found it so quickly and she has great chances on recovering! If they treat it fast and right she can recover without much damage and hopefully keeping both of her ovaries! She is determined to fight and win!  She really hopes to live and have kids someday.

Please help Sasha in her chemotherapy expenses!

That she could nail that disease in its root. She can’t afford acting fast on her own and really need your help. Fast. The money will go straight to her medical expenses.

We were hoping for better all along. Waiting for her test results and doctors forecasts. As of today we have a pretty good understanding on how it will go:

Her doctors are hoping that one round of chemotherapy will kill forming cancer and Sasha could save both of her ovaries. With that in mind this fundraiser was formed to make it affordable for Sasha to do ( be able to afford) the treatments fast and kill the cancer in the root, before it grows out of IA stage.

The things, tests and medications she needs to afford are:

Paclitaxel Actavis, Cisplatin, Grastim for her chemotherapies.

Also painkillers, antivominiting medications, untiallergie medications, suringes and other test materials ( yes, none of that is provided in Ukrainian hospitals, and if it is - it's extra charge), hospital stay after every chemotherapy, blood tests between chemotherapies, medications for balancing blood health: lakostim, fistim, commute to the hospital ( an 8 hour train ride to Kiev ( capital of Ukraine) and back (as that is the hospital she is getting treated at) for every chemotherapy.
