Hi I am Betty Kochanowsky, Michaels mother . Our son was 24 years old and on December 13-2014 tragically he passed away from complication from double pheunomia. This has left his father Gregory and I completely devistated and saddened. He was and is our hero and he fought a hard battle, one of many. This battle would prove to be to hard to win . We miss him everyday and cry for him. He was a wonderful person and the community has lost a very happy person that loved to LOVE AND LAUGH. We need your assistance to try and pay his funeral expenses that have become due. Any amount would help. We received moneys from friend and family and that went 100% to the expenses to pay them down. I was Michaels PCA so when he passed I lost my job. I was a mother and care taker for 24 years . It has been proven to be hard and scary to try and figure out where to go from here as far as employment counts. All of this takes time and we are trying to stay strong and positive as I know Michael would want us to do. Michael's father is disabled as well from a injury when Michael was three and works from home . We have taken a VERY big hit financially with all the different income losses because of our tragic loss of Michael. We will carry on Michaels memory and be strong and make him  as proud of us as we are of him. I want to thank all the great people of the community and friend for their support thru this time. I also want to thank the PALM BEACH COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT for honoring my request to attend Michael's funeral and play the bagpipes. They did an awsome job not a dry eye in the house. Micheal loved the firemen for many times saving his live. Sometimes I think that i am sleeping and you need to wake me up from all of this. My goal is to get back up on our feet and try and be happy again in honor of little master  Michael.
