Our Dear Aunty has spent the last 2.5 years struggling with Motor Neurone Disease. This disease attacks the muscels of your body forcing to give up your independence and way of life. The life expectancy for sufferers is 5 years. My Aunty within just 3 weeks has lost total use of her legs forcing my uncle to give up work and be Dotti's full time carer. This was so unexpected to Dotti and our whole family as you can imagine. My Aunty is the most loving, caring and most cherished human i have ever met and I cant believe how bessed I am to have her not only in my life but as an aunty! She is the glue in our family and holds us all together. We hate to see her suffering, she has 3 beautiful children and the most scrumptious 7 grandchildren who are all suffering with her. This has not only all happened so fast but has taken a toll finanially. This fund is to help get Dot a new bed, specially made for disabilities is worth $5000. We will not stop until we reach above and beyond this goal. Dot needs house renovations for disability and a new car which will come well and truely over $60,000. Dot is seeking help from MND and Me Foundation but there is very minimal help for MND sufferers. Most funds are to help support research, not sufferers. All donations will go straight into a fund for Dot and 100% of the contributions will go straight to buying Dotti her new bed so she can rest comfortably. Dot has always been the one to help others, now its time for us to help her. EVERY $1 helps. Even if you can spare 50cents!!! it all adds up. No matter the amount it will truly touch our hearts and you will never understand how this will change our lives.
