Fishing has been a part of my life for more than forty years. It has always been more than catching fish. For me, it is about teaching patience, connecting with nature, and finding peace in the stillness of the water. Over the years I have taken friends, neighbors, and even strangers out to experience that feeling for the first time, to understand the water, the rhythm of life around it, and the respect it deserves.
Right now I only have a small 10 foot boat. It has served me well but it limits how many people I can safely bring and how far we can go. There are many people who have never had the chance to fish or even be out on the water and I want to change that. My goal is to raise funds for a 17 foot Mako center console boat, a safe and reliable vessel that will allow me to take more people out to experience the beauty of fishing and the lessons that come from being part of nature.
With this boat I can give more people their first real connection to the outdoors. Whether it is feeling a fish on the line, watching a sunrise on the water, or simply taking a quiet moment surrounded by nature, those experiences create respect and appreciation that last a lifetime.
