Please help us move Ayo into a safe, stable home ASAP.

Dear friends, 

I am reaching out to you all with a heartfelt plea on behalf of my sister, Ayo. She is a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who is still bravely currently battling multiple myeloma. Many may remember her story from 2022, when we fundraised while she recovered from a stem cell transplant. While she has shown strength in managing the ups & downs of surviving cancer, she now finds herself in an urgent situation regarding permanent housing. She relies on disability income, which is not sustainable with continually rising market-rate rents. 

Thankfully, Ayo was just approved for housing in the senior facility where our mom also lives. It is a wonderful community that offers a supportive environment and access to services she needs. It would literally be a dream come true if they could be safe and secure, together, 10 mins from me. 

We are seeking to raise $2,200 to help cover moving/move-in costs. Every dollar contributed will bring her closer to secure housing and peace of mind for our family.
