At just 15 years old, Francis faced an unimaginable challenge when a severe headache led to the discovery of a large tumor in his brain. But rather than succumb to despair, he has embraced life with unwavering courage and an infectious spirit that inspires everyone around him.

On July 19th, 2024, Francis underwent a life-saving surgery that successfully removed 90% of the glioblastoma, a formidable adversary. Initially given only one year to live, Francis chose to fight, embodying resilience and hope in the face of adversity. His journey has been filled with ups and downs, including a grueling seven weeks of radiation where long daily commutes became a testament to his tenacity.

In the following months, despite a challenging prognosis and unexpected hurdles, Francis's spirit has only shone brighter. In December, just before turning sixteen, he received the joyous news that his tumor is shrinking! Each scan reveals the power of hope and the strength of community, reminding us all that miracles are indeed possible.

Now, as Francis continues his journey with an innovative treatment plan that includes prayer, healthy living, and possibly gamma knife radiation, we are reaching out to you—his community of supporters—to help ensure he receives the care he deserves.
