For the fifth year running, I'm trying to help the overwhelmed dog and cat shelters in Egypt by running a fundraiser. There are an estimated 23-25 million street dogs in Egypt, most living under very harsh conditions. Shelters take in the sick and the weak ones to treat them and give them a home for life. Some shelters have close to 2000 dogs, and they manage with very little resources. With the devaluation of the Egyptian pound, doggie food prices increased more than three-fold, and donations have become more scarce. Every donation you make makes a difference! All Contributions are documented and all receipts are posted and emailed to you.

The campaign will be updated with receipts from the shelters. I will also email these receipts to the contributors with a breakdown of the total contributions and the exact share of each shelter. This is my birthday gift, please help me make more doggies happy this year and always.
