About Me:
My name is Adel. I live in Saudi Arabia. I had been working
straight for 9 years then suddenly something happened. My whole world
came tumbling down on me.
It happened late at night, in my bed, when I was going to sleep.
Just like any other night, resting for the hard working day that was
going to come tomorrow, I suddenly found myself unable to sleep. My
mind was racing preventing me to sleep. Thoughts of death came to
mind. All I could think of was about how I was going to die and if I
died in my sleep what would happen. I have not been a very good human
being, where would I go?
So, in the end, I entered into this panic where I had become
afraid to sleep. I had trouble sleeping. I went a psychiatrist and I
was diagnosed with depression. He said that I was having problems in
my life and specifically at work and pretended that all was okay and
one day your mind could not handle the denial anymore and reacted in depression.
I have been treated for a couple of months now and I am much
better. I sleep well. I am taking an anti-depressant. As well as
working on myself. The doctor suggested doing something I am
interested in to give me a joy in life and also having something to do
as I am healing.
I had been watching youtube and was really interested in
filmmaking, vlogging, and video editing.
Request:
I actually don't have money to buy the filmmaking kit, as its
expensive. I read on the internet that crowdfunding can help me with
this, that there would be kind people who would understand and help me
in my recovery process.

Conclusion:
There are a lot of people in need of money more than me. People who
are in much worse conditions. Obviously, if I don’t get this money I
am not going to die, however, if you do find it in your heart to
donate 1 dollar (that’s all that I ask from one person) then you would
have set in motion the process of making a depressed man happy, and
aiding his recovery.
