SCIENCE AND FAITH: Creating ways on enriching social and academic knowledge with various communities, through outreach and variety of programs.

I am Danzyll John, from the Philippines. A student leader from a Public University.


I am here asking for financial help for the continuation of the Science and Faith project this year. The last volunteer project was on 2014, together with my friends, we managed to reachout to more or less 300 people.

The program science and faith, is an all in one program which is composed of an outreach activity, science experiments to entertain kids and adults, preaching, knowledge about Do’s and Don’ts, and a whole lots of games.

Befeniciaries:

Our beneficiaries are children, we took attention to those who are being abused, mentally challenged, and those who where sent in a place because of financial problem and we managed to find that kind of community.

It is the “Kanlungan ng Kabataan” ("Home for the Youth") located on Antipolo City, Rizal. It is a shelter for children who were found on the streets, had been abused by their parents, and a temporary shelter to those who are financially unstable.

Our next beneficiary are adults, but just as how we selected our target children, we decided that the adults must be the ones who needed FAITH the most, and a little bit of happiness to keep them going.

We managed to find them, in Marikina City Jail on Marikina City. They are Detainees, and for the information of everyone, they must not to be confused with Prisoners or Criminals currently jailed. They are the ones not proven guilty by the court, and their cases are still on going.

Mission:


The mission is simple.

To put smile on their faces.

We managed to attain this by of course, removing the horizon between us. That we must see things as the way they see. There should be no hesitation, and to radiate the smile, we are the ones who should smile first and accommodate them.

If everything will be in order, I would like to bring this project back to life on August.

I would like to go back. I love to go back. I want to know how are they now.
