Hello, my name is Sydney. I'm 21 years old, from a small town in Ohio. 

About two months ago, I was assaulted and raped by a coworker, who went free because of lack of evidence and no witnesses. Shortly after this, my husband bought me a one way ticket back to my hometown, and declared that he'll begin divorce proceedings. I had no spousal support, very little money, and no employment. It's only recently that I realized that something was wrong, and I discovered that I was pregnant. I've only just recently began a new job, but I don't make enough to cover the clinic expenses, and I have no current insurance, because I'm still on job probation for three more months. 

I know that abortion is a touchy subject in today's society, and I could understand why people may be against it. For me though, I'm still not more than a girl, I'm not mentally or financially prepared for child. This is something forced on me in one act of a crude and disgusting man, and I already have struggles with depression and anxiety without added burdens of a new life. 

I'll need help to get through, but its doesn't have to be much. The cheapest procedure ranges from $400-$500, and I don't make enough to cover it, and very few family members would support me and my choice. So I have to turn to friends and kind strangers for all the help I can get. 

Please help me, I want to have a baby on my own terms, in my own time, only when I'm ready. I don't want something that is supposed to be special and intimate become something horrifying and damaging. I want to be able to fully love who I can bring into the world.
