So lots of people are going 'Sober for October' to raise money .... As I dont drink, this may be a bit tooo easy for me !!! sooo to help me raise funds to go on a mission trip to Zimbabwe with a team from CFC Belfast from 7th to the 21st February. The cound down is on .............................

'NOT EAT/DRINK CHOCOLATE IN OCTOBER'
I hear ALL my family and friends laugh ... if you know me, you will know my diet consists mostly of chocolate bars, chocolate biscuits and hot chocolate !!! Time to get healthy and raise lots of funds I hope :D
All proceeds are going towards my Mission Trip to Zimbabwe. I have the opportunity to go out again with a team in February , and my heart is over joyed at just the mere thought of it ! I feel a real call from God to go out and be His eyes ears and loving arms , and show these children Gods compassion and love for each of them. The overwhelming feeling I get spending quality time with the babies and children who have nothing, no parents, no family, some no shoes, no parental bond, no uncontional love, no hope, and no choices in life completly engulfed me! I am overjoyed at the privilege I have to tell these kids about Jesus. He is their Father who clothes them, loves them uncontionally. He has a hope and a future for everyone who belives in Him.
The baby in my profile pic is called Miranda , if I could bring her home I would in a heart beat, I'm hoping to go cuddle and spend time with her again , she was abandoned on the streets as a newborn and now lives in an imporvershed orphanage xx just one of the many many heart breaking stories I heard about durning my time there x
Throughout our 2 weeks stay with Alan and Dorothy who run a charity
called Zimababwe Orphan Care, we have the opportunity to bring the
gospel into primary schools daily using drama and songs. We also have
to the opportunity to visit very impoverished orphanages , we get to
sing, dance and play with them, telling them Jesus loves them and and
get to cuddle and love on them, we also bring very much needed warm
clothes, toys, bubbles, tolietries ect out to them xx We spend our
late afternoons at Jabulani, loving and playing with Alan and
Dorothy's children x I am missing a massive part of my heart , it's in
Zimbabwe with these beautiful children ! They are in my thoughts and
prayers daily.
