My friend Lisa has a male Chihuahua. His name is Boots, but she calls
him Bootsie, and sometimes, Bubba. He is very sick and is currently

We need help with the financial side of this. Today is the third day he's been in the hospital with Pancreatitis. He is slowly recovering from the severe dehydration brought on by the Pancreatitis and we've just learned that he now also has Diabetes. According to the doctor, Diabetes is commonly caused by the Pancreatitis. Bootsie is currently undergoing the slow process of trying to determine the dose of insuline he will require. This may take several more days in the hospital plus the related ongoing expenses.
Lisa needs your help! Please, anything you can do will be that much closer to being enough to cover the current and future medical expenses for our friend Boots.

"To all my Facebook friends, I need to raise funds to pay my veterinary expenses for one of my pet Chihuahuas, Bootsie. He is 7 years old and I've had him since he was 8 weeks old, along with his sister, Dinky, who, by the way, is missing him very much!
Over the past few weeks I've noticed that Bootsie didn't quite seem himself. Then on Tuesday (Jan 14,2014), I was awakened by the sound of him throwing up. Throughout the morning, he continued to cry very loud and proceed to throw up. He looked horrible, in a crouched position with his tail between his legs, his eyes were small and began to show some discharge, as well as an extreme show of pain on his face. I took him to Banfied Animal Hospital and they basically sent me home, saying I can try worming him. They were going to worm him there, but I had the same worm medicine at home. The doctor also gave him a medicine called Tranadol for pain and said to give him 1/4 tablet up to 3 times a day. The next morning, he was so sick, we took him to a different hospital, where he is now and has been since 10;30am Wednesday Jan 15, 2014. I have many animals to care for and I'm back and forth with the current doctor treating Bootsie so I have to move on to the expenses that have occurred already and the expenses to come.
Oh, and by the way, my most recent addition, a rescue pup I took in as a stray, is digging at her bedding as I write this! She's pregnant and due any day now!!! OMG! I am so overwhelmed, that I'm shaking as I type this. The total, thus far is close to 3k and is expected to rise! After multiple tests, they say my Bootsie is in an advanced state of Ketosis (I may have to check my spelling later), and he has Pancreatitis and is also in a very advanced stage of Diabetes! Please forgive any misspellings and I'll add veterinary bills later, my rescue Chi needs me, having pups any time NOW!!!
