Sandra Boggs hasn't added a story.
We are coming up on a time of year that is very difficult for me, financially speaking.
Allow me to refresh you of my circumstances, and why I struggle so much. I am the sole survivor of my immediate family. I lost my dad in 2018 and my mom in 2022. I have never been married, and do not have kids. Only my dogs.
I went from having a family that split all the bills, and each one had a manageable chunk, as well as a dad who did all home repairs, auto repairs and lawn care, himself, to it being just me, and a meager income of disability, $1305 a month. Being disabled, I cannot work. I now pay for lawn care, home and auto repair. It makes things difficult.
I start our with $1305 a month. Utility bills average $423.50 a month, leaving me with $881. Credit Card bill is around $500, leaving me with $300 to cover groceries, dog autoships, and anything extra that comes along. So basically, I start out behind. Every month.
Well today, I got my bill for my Homeowners. It has gone up $200 to over $1K now. Auto insurance will not be far behind, and it is another $200, and in November, comes property taxes, another $500.
Every year, Fall and Winter are tough. I am filing for help on my electric bill. Don't know if I will get it or not. If not, winter months are outrageous.
In addition to these annual Fall and Winter Bills, I will soon be having cataract surgery. I will have to pay 2 people. One to stay with my dogs, and 1 to drive me to and from surgery, and stay with me while the surgery is done. This will happen twice, once for each eye.
Ace has to have another blood test in December to see if his ALP has come back to normal. If it has not, he will have to be tested for Cushings.
I also need to reschedule my appointment with the ENT. I cancelled it when Fig started having seizures, because I didn't want to leave her, but I need to do it, soon, and get my deviated septum, from when I broke my nose, fixed.I will hold out with this one for as long as I can. When it is done, I will also need to pay 2 people. One to stay with my dogs, and 1 to drive me to and from.
I have been very reluctant to start another fundraiser, because it come to my attention, after I lost Fig, that there are people who think I don't deserve to have dogs, due to my financial struggles. If I can't have dogs, just shoot me, and put me out of my misery! My dogs are my LIFE! I am a good dog mom, and I do the best I can to keep up for them. My dogs are rescues! Is it better they die, than find a loving home, even if the loving home struggles, financially? Do Ace and Alma have a say?
So I hope you understand my circumstances, and why I need a lot of help, a lot of the time. I have no desire to be a burden to anyone, and I HATE doing fundraisers. I would much prefer to be in a position to take care of myself, and help others, but I am not. So I ask you, PLEASE help me if you can! Every little bit will help.
I do also have an Amazon List, so it is another way to help.
You can also donate directly to me on paypal @SKBoggs, Venmo @Sandra-Boggs-7, or Cash App $boggssk You can message me for my address to mail a check.
Thank you so much for reading, and for understanding. Thank you, especially, to all those who ever have, or will help me. God Bless You!!!!
