Dear Kindhearted Donors,

I never imagined I’d find myself in this position—reaching out for help just to cover the basics of life. But today, I’m doing exactly that, with humility and hope in my heart.

In April 2025, I was retrenched from the company I had worked hard for, and although I received a final month’s salary, it quickly went towards rent and groceries, for myself and my beloved dogs. Since then, I’ve been facing growing uncertainty with each passing day.

Let me tell you a little about my dogs. They are not just pets, they are my family. They are both huskies and have been by my side for over eight years. They are my daughters in every way that truly matters. We’ve shared joy, laughter, and comfort through life’s ups and downs. And now, during this incredibly difficult time, they are still my biggest source of strength.

Before things got tough, we had a tradition, every Sunday, we’d go for a long walk followed by a special treat: ice cream. It was something simple but meaningful, something that made them wag their tails with joy and made me feel like I was giving them the love they deserve. Now, those ice cream Sundays are just walks. But even in this storm, they remain loyal, loving, and full of spirit. They don’t complain, but I can’t bear the thought of not being able to feed them or keep a roof over our heads.

I’ve applied for countless jobs since losing mine, but so far, nothing has come through. I’m doing everything I can to find a way out, but right now, I need a hand to get through this stretch.
