Hello everyone! My name is Tori Kerr. I’m currently a first-year criminal justice honor student at North Carolina A&T State University, which is about six hours away from my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. Family and community mean the world to me, and I've always believed in the incredible strength that comes from connection and community.

As I embarked on my college journey, I found that community service became my comforting haven—a place where I feel peace, purpose, and a deep passion for making a difference. It beautifully connects me to my roots and sparks hope for my future. This summer, I am blessed with the amazing opportunity to serve abroad in Grenada, where I will be working at a free after-school community center for children in a neighborhood that really needs it.

This endeavor is entirely volunteer-based, meaning I will be living and working in Grenada without pay. In light of this, I’m reaching out to seek a little support to help cover my travel and living expenses.

This opportunity is incredibly important to me—it feels like the first step on a lifelong path of global service. I dream of traveling and serving in different countries each summer until I graduate, ultimately leading me to join the Peace Corps.
