Dear Friends,
As you know, Russia’s horrific invasion of my homeland of Ukraine has now entered its second year, and Putin is showing no sign of ending his bloody assault. Ukrainians are still dying in their homes, on the streets and in the battlefield.
Among those defending the country is a person very dear to me – someone who’s now in one of the war’s hottest combat zones, just 700 metres from enemy lines. He didn’t have to fight. He didn’t have to join the military. But he volunteered to defend his country because that’s the sort of person he is. He's a strong, brave angel – never selfish, never scared, always the first to offer help.
And now he needs our help. That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser. His battalion needs things like Walkie-Talkies, night-vision goggles, thermal imaging devices and more. They’re the pieces of equipment that easily get damaged or destroyed in active battle zones, and they’re not being replaced fast enough. I’ve found sources, priced out what is needed, and launched this campaign to raise money to move forward with the purchases.
Ukraine’s defenders are fighting in the trenches in sub-zero temperatures, under constant shelling. They’re risking their lives every single day to protect Ukraine – and the world!
