I am disabled and currently fighting to get on Social Security, and my partner has had a hard time finding steady work, especially near our home, since we have not had a vehicle since September 2022. 

I have owned this house since 2013, and have very low payments on it, and will be far better off financially staying here than having to rent. 

Update: (6/10/23)

Mortgage company seems willing to offer a settlement. I have paid a trial payment they wanted me to make for June, two more will be due in July and August. I don't have any idea however what their settlement terms will be, if they will want a large portion of back payments made before proceeding forward at the end of this trial period. 

Update: (7/28/23) 

Third of the three trial payments have been made, waiting on further contact from mortgage company to my legal aid lawyer, to see what kind of settlement they want, to close the foreclosure proceedings and get back to regular payments.

Presuming they will want some of the back due payments repaid, but no idea what those terms will be yet, and house fund is quite low after paying $2,700 in back due utility bills. Also my partner is under high stress and anxiety in their job search. Could use your help.

Success!  A great settlement that refinanced the mortgage has been officially achieved and is in place. Thanks everyone!
