Bradley was rescued from a local kill shelter 2 days ago by Dog Days Rescue. He was obviously emaciated and didn't care to eat. It's not uncommon for dogs to get nervous/upset stomachs when there are so many changes and not want to eat for a day or two. Today, Bradley started vomiting so we rushed him to Emergency Vet where he tested strong positive for Parvo. Tonight, the ER vet has started treatment with fluids and injections of several medications for nausea and antibiotics. He's currently resting comfortably.
As you all know, Parvovirus is very severe and can quickly be fatal and is very expensive to treat. Bradley was rescued with no pledges and no donations. He needs help this Christmas and we are asking for any kind donations to help us get him through this and on to wellness care, vetting, vaccinations and neutering.
We're heartbroken, in the 2 days he's been with us, Bradley has shown us what a special gentleman he is. Even not feeling well, he's been nothing but sweet and loving. This tiny boy deserves a new life, one where he's healthy and able to find a loving forever home. Please help us give him that chance.
