For many years, the Catholic faithful of the Archdiocese of Kingston have not had access to a regular Mass in the Extraordinary Form, owing in part to the lack of priests who know how to say the Mass.  While orders devoted to saying the Extraordinary Form of the Mass, such as Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter has grown in various places in Canada, Kingston, with it's 100,000 registered Catholics continues to lag behind.

For many years, Fr. Brian Price made the hour long commute from his home parish in neighboring Brockville Ontario to offer the mass in the extraordinary form, but this is a committment, that he's only been able to make once a month, at most, and sometimes albeit infrequently, not at all.

Recently, some priests from the Archdiocese have expressed interest in learning the extraordinary form of the Mass, at one of the two regularly offered workshops for diocesean priests.  This campaign aims to help offset the costs which are not insignificant for our priests to devote some time to learning, and therefore advancing the cause of the Tridentine Mass.

In particular, this campaign aims to send (God willing) Fr. Justin Pulikunnel, Fr. James Quirk, and Fr. Jan Kusyk to learn the Latin Mass, to the workshop offered by the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius in Chicago, May 2-5, 2017.
