My name is Lidia Maldonado, I am a long time fan, friend and now a firm believer and supporter of the gentleman I am about to expose as a man with a heart of GOLD, there to help anyone in need, a God fearing man and a loving and caring son, father, brother, uncle and cousin.
His name is Joe Lopez (stage name), he is listed as Jose M. Lopez in prison, yes I said prison...Like many others he was wrongfully convicted of a heinous crime. But first I would like to for you to get to know that not only was Joe the lead singer with the group named MAZZ, he is also know as the "Tejano King" in the tejano community.
Mazz is a Grammy Award–winning Tejano band originating from Brownsville, Texas. Formed in the early to mid-1970s by Jimmy González and Joe López, the group emerged as one of the most innovative Tejano crossover bands after adding synthesizer to combine traditional Tex-Mex, Mexican music, and popular Latin rhythms.
Grupo Mazz became a successful band on the regional Mexican scene, climbing the charts. The music of Joe Lopez, including the songs he recorded when he was the lead singer with Grupo Mazz, continues to get airplay at Tejano stations around the world today along with that of Jimmy Gonzalez y Grupo Mazz.
Joe Lopez was has been inprisioned since 2006, after he was accused of sexually molesting his neice, trust me this is still very difficult to accept!

"The book, which has a working title of “Justice for Joe” will exonerate López and detail all the facts that will prove his innocence with never-before seen documents. It will also expose why López was set up, wrongfully charged and convicted. The book will expose important behind the scenes shocking facts. Another reason for losing the case is there was much evidence that was inadmissible in court because the alleged victim was not eighteen.

There is an appeal in progress and this cannot be hampered so this article will solely focus on what can be legally divulged. What can be disclosed is that López did not have to go to prison because he was initially offered four months in jail followed by probation. The result is that he fired his lawyers for even fathoming the thought of such a deal.
“Imagine that. If I had indeed done that and was offered only four months, I would have kissed his feet and hugged the judge, but I didn’t do anything. So why should I admit to a crime I did not commit in exchange for a light sentence? Ni lo mande Dios,” López said as he shook his head in disbelief.”
Former District Attorney Armando Villalobos who prosecuted him and Judge Limas who sentenced him are now both in prison.
His team of attorneys need monies in order to continue the fight to EXONERATE him.

He is a celebrity and he was being bribed for millions by a family member, didn't get it so she told him that she was going to cry rape. Which we know is not true, please read articles and please help EXONERATE AN INNOCENT MAN. There will always be jealous, vengeful and crazy people out there to break anyone down.
