Our dear friend Valerie Shand is in the hospital, she is down with pneumonia. In the meantime that Valerie is sick, her animals need food and the bills keep pouring in.  Valerie works as a court officer who takes depositions for court cases. She makes enough to pay for amortization, but she's been living on the edge since her mom passed away. Her mom's pension was a big help towards Val's rescue efforts.  Now our dear Val is ill.  I am asking for your donations to help her get through a month or so of recovery.

Valerie and I have rescued several animals from Craigslist, they are at home with fosters/adopters. Valerie never said no when asked to help or call people up. She reached out to people to help foster dogs needing homes, did background checks on prospective homes for animals in need. I vouch for this woman's big heart, never asking to be repaid.  Please let's help her in her hour of need.  Not one of us could make her money problems go away, but together, we can make her feel better and get well soon.
