I'm doing this because I love my brother. Please help!

Thursday afternoon my brother, Vince, was taken to the hospital after having a seizure. After a CT scan and MRI, he has been diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) in his brain. We had no idea. He said that he can remember times when he would become nauseated and see purple, or he would have a sore tongue but not remember having a seizure or anything. According to the doctors, this is a cluster of malformed blood vessels in the brain. Apparently this is something he most likely has had since birth, but it has enlarged. There are some treatment options available, such as radiation therapy or embolization, but surgery most likely won't be an option due to the location of the vessels.

Here's the worst of it: Vince has no medical insurance, no funds to travel to doctors and hospitals, and he will not be able to work or even drive a car. And we have to do something fast. While we will be able to get some coverage through Medicaid or Obamacare within the next month or so, it will not cover all of the costs, so we are pulling together, wracking our minds for ideas, and asking our close friends, family, and even friends of friends to help. All funds raised will go directly to Vince and his family to cover medical and living expenses during this very difficult time. 

At 39, and with a family and young son, and four brothers and sisters that need him here (not to mention a very worried mom and dad), Vince is too young for his future not to be full and bright. With the right treatment it can be. Please help us make that a possibility.
