It is with overwhelming sorrow that we announce the passing of our Beloved Brother, Father, Friend and Soul Mate; Jamie Lee Rogers. Jamie passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 4, 2014. As Jamie did not have life insurance; your donation is greatly appreciated in assisting Shelley Worsham, the Love of His Life, with funeral expenses and the upcoming financial obligations his family will now face.
Jamie was a living testament to the term “acts of kindness”. If it needed built...he would come. The enthusiasm he brought to any project was more than contagious and soon, not only would your job be complete, it became a fond memory of good times shared. He was truly a friend to all and a stranger to none.
Jamie was blessed with many wonderful gifts in his short life. The most extraordinary of these gifts being the births of his three amazing children: Alyssa, Austin and Bailey. He enjoyed a tight circle of friends all of which referred to him as “Brother”. Jamie counted himself among the very few and lucky individuals fortunate enough to have found their soul mate. With Shelley by his side, he was able to endure the most tragic event in his short life, the loss of his beloved oldest daughter, Alyssa.
Alyssa passed away January 24 th 2012 in the loving arms of her Father and Momma Shelley, due to complications that arose following the heart and double lung transplant she received in January of 2011. Jamie and Shelley dedicated their lives (and life savings) in the efforts of prolonging Alyssa’s young life. There are no words to describe the heartbreak a parent suffers from the loss of a child, but true to his nature, Jamie became the rock his family needed to get through such an amazingly difficult time.
The devastating loss of Jamie Lee Rogers will undoubtedly have long lasting effects on his family. Though there is little we can do to ease their pain, it is our hope that with your assistance, we can at least ease the financial burden they are sure to face.
Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Jamie knew without a doubt, he would give whatever he had to assist a friend or even a stranger in need. Let’s follow in his footsteps and give from our hearts to help his family get through this difficult time.
