More than a dozen displaced after fire in Aurora for starters my 15 year old and I left his father my husband 6 years ago. I was a housewife with nothing. We came back home to colorado to noyhing with nothing. 2 years living in homeless shelters I FINALLY got us a home and a summer of hard work i had the perfect start only to loos it all in 10 miniutes . On Febuary 22nd my 15 year old was cutting chicken He had cut his finger so bad it went through the nail and up so I wrapped him up ran to Childrens Hospital, walked into the ER maybe 5 miniutes later. and i looked at my son and said you had something on the stove didnt you? He says yes on HIGH !!! imediatley I called my niaghbore, Quick run over and turn my stove off !!!! Not 2 miniutes go by were in with the triage Nurse my nieghbore called back he said baby girl its gone I couldnt stop it the whole thing is up!! So Im freaking out and the triage nurse says you signed concent for treatment go see. I hall A!@ and halfway to my apartment the 2nd fire department was behind me!!!! Im screaming the whole way things I couldnt repeat. I get to the apartment not 15 miniutes later andevery windoew is bursted out flames going up to the next floor and me screaming NONONONONO!!!!!!! I stood there for 3 hours or so watching the firefighters shuvel all of our things out of the living room window while another firefighter hossed it down. all of my hard 6 year struggle gone in 10 miniutes. Now its back to square one still no job mentally disabled. About a year and a half ago Lithium tried to kill me the danger leveal is 2.5 i was at a 4.6 I was on emergency dialisiuss for 6 hours in the ICU for two weeks lost a month or so of memory all of my teath and they had to teach me how to swallow and walk again. Im a tuff coockie but this one takes the cake if anyone is kind eanough to give to my family Its with all my honnor that it will go to a deposit for a new place and from there kitchen supplies the rest is in Gods hands. where a strong family not looking for a handout just a well deserved repreave thanks and God bless PS.
