Short Summary
The United States needs more competition in the political arena
because it costs millions of dollars to get elected, even on a local
level. Americans for Political Diversity advocates for political
competition full time on the local, state, and national levels and
works with third parties during the campaign and election season by
providing campaigns with assistance in fundraising, marketing, and
volunteer coordination.
Our founder, Rodney Benker, provides over ten years of education and experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Media, Public Relations, and Business to enable more outlets and funding for third parties and foster representative government in the United States. It is the goal of Americans for Political Diversity to first promote the idea of third parties in American politics and then assist third parties with their campaign needs at minimal to no cost to the campaign.
What We Need
This is first-round funding to procure (in order of importance)
internet capabilities, computer hardware (video card), and legal assistance.
The Impact
The United States of America is a Constitutional Republic and in
order to function properly, a diverse cross section of Citizens must
be represented. Americans for Political Diversity believes that you
are not being properly represented with only two choices at the ballot
box. Furthermore we feel having alternatives to the 'same old choices'
will encourage more Americans to become involved and educated in
politics and make their voices heard.
In today's political environment, it takes so much money to even
win a local, small-time, election that most Citizen Politicians are
eliminated from your choice before the races even start because the
'other two parties' have turned politics into a business. Americans
for Political Diversity plans to make any and all third parties a
viable choice for you, the Voter, so We the People may be a Republic
once again.
