As many of you know 3 weeks ago my brother Andrew (15yo) suffered a brain hemorrage. He has been reciving the most outstanding care and treatment from the doctors and care staff on the childrens neurology ward at the RVI hospital. His recovery and rehabilitation will take some time but we are so grateful to these wonderful people for the work they do.

The ward relies heavily on donations in order to fund things such as toys and games for use by the children and their visiting families, some of whom spend months living on the ward.

So after an impulsive discussion my wife Emily and I have decided to do the Boxing Day Dip in seaham. It is not something either of us would ever considered doing however we both want to show our apreciation to the staff on the ward and help raise some money.

We understand this is an expensive time of year however we would please ask for your donations big or small.

Thank you all.

Simon and Emily Hall
