Ciao!
A cosa serviranno i fondi raccolti?
– da un lato, aiutarlo nelle spese quotidiane (vestiti, cibo, strumenti per continuare a coltivare il sogno, ancora vivo, di fare musica);
Come partecipare?
Grazie a tutti!

--- ENGLISH VERSION BELOW ---
Hi! We are Gregorio, Alejandro, Guendalina, Gaia, and Annachiara — the San Damiano team.
This documentary is the result of three years spent at Termini Station, alongside the people who live around it. It gives a voice to those who live on the margins of our society.
The film tells the story of Damiano, a 35-year-old Polish man fleeing from his past with the dream of singing. Arriving in Rome with no money, he turns the ancient tower of the Aurelian Walls into his home, but soon sinks into the urban jungle of Termini Station, where he encounters Sofia’s troubled love and the family he never had.
San Damiano and Forte Antenne present an evening of music and
solidarity.
A special night, born from the generous gesture of
artists who have chosen to offer their music to support those who are
trying to rebuild their lives.
All proceeds from donations will
go toward supporting the reintegration journey of the people who took
part in the documentary.
FundRazr allows us to track every operation transparently.
What will the raised funds be used for?
For Alessio.
After 9 years living on the streets, Alessio found the courage to ask
for help and begin a path of rebirth.
For the past four months,
he has been a guest at the Villa Maraini community, where he is
undergoing an intense detox and personal reconstruction
program.
Until now, we've been able to cover his expenses through
the sale of film merchandise, but he now needs to take one final and
essential step: moving to a new therapeutic community that will
accompany him for the next two years toward autonomy.
Together
with the equipe who is dealing with his recovery, we’ve set a goal of
€6,000, equivalent to €250 per month (for 24 months), to cover some
medical costs, clothing, organized outings, and essential
items.
Donations will be transferred via bank transfer directly
to the coordinators of the community.
For Damiano.
After his extradition, Damiano is now in a highly repressive
psychiatric institution in Poland.
We aim to raise €10,000, with
two goals:
– to help with his daily expenses (clothing, food,
tools to keep alive his dream of making music);
– and to try to
move him to a more suitable facility.
Thanks to discussions with several psychiatrists, it appears that the
schizophrenia diagnosis might be incorrect, and that the current
environment could be worsening his condition.
That’s why we want
to rely on a Polish lawyer who can help us secure a more just
therapeutic path in a dignified setting.
Here too, all expenses
will be documented through transparent bank transfers: some directly
to Damiano (mediated by the institution), and others for legal costs.
What if we exceed the goal?
Any extra funds will remain as a transparent deposit on the FundRazr website, ready to support other protagonists of the documentary — like Sofia, with whom we’re in contact — if and when they decide to start a community-based recovery journey. When that day comes, we want to be ready.
How to participate?
Donations are voluntary.
If everyone gave €20, we could truly
reach our goal.
But any amount is a valuable contribution.
Thank you all!
A heartfelt thank you, in particular, to Donato Dozzy, the first to support the idea for this evening, and to Cosimo Damiano — composer of the original soundtrack — who supported the project from the very beginning. And to all the artists who are donating their music to this cause:
