Everyone has a story to tell. But this is no Fairy-Tale. This is a story of 15 hard-working students who are fueled with passion and a strong dedication to Robotics. They are the next generation; they go by the name of AIUB Robotic Crew 2022 (ARC 22) from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). From Melting a shaft of Aluminum to form a light-weight chassis and Complex Engineering of Electrical Circuits as the heart of the system to developing Critical Algorithms that work as the system’s brain, the team ARC 22 has made a rover that is capable to detect the life existence of the Red Planet MARS. AIUB Robotic Crew has a long history of participating in international competitions. This Year the legend continues. The AIUB Robotic Crew 2022 (ARC 22) will compete in the University Rover Challenge 2022 Finals, which will be held in the United States from June 01 to June 4, 2022, at the prestigious Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS). A total of 99 teams from 10 nations participated this year for University Rover Challenge 2022. Among which only 36 teams have been selected to compete at the research station in southern Utah, USA, and AIUB Robotic Crew 22 has been successfully qualified for the final round.
We, The Aiub Robotic Crew 22, dare to compete in the Global Arena. We want to represent our rising Bangladesh amidst the most competitive Rover challenge on Earth, administrated by The Mars Society. And for this, we need your help. Your support can help us to participate in the University Rover Challenge held in the USA. Our limits of dedication to Robotics stay beyond the sky but we tend to limit due to our finance. Student teams from all over the world are being challenged by URC (University Rover Challenge) to develop and build the next-generation Mars rover that will one day work alongside astronauts. Only the brightest minds from premier universities throughout the world get the opportunities and as a qualified team, we want to best use this opportunity. We are a group of talented individuals and young Engineers who are working relentlessly to find solutions for a better future. Who knows, one day our work will be studied so that humankind can habituate to MARS.
