Seeking donations to perfect a new type of long lasting water battery.

The water battery can be made many ways but the basic method that generates power for several years uses pure magnesium as the negative electrode and pure copper as the positive electrode. When these two metals are submersed in plain water and near each other a voltage of around 1.5 volts is created. So long as the electrodes are in water this energy is generated non stop until either the electrodes need cleaning or the electrodes erode away. Electrodes of sufficient size and diameter will last many years generating energy with proper electrode cleaning.

I have designed many varieties of water batteries and some even as dry cell batteries requiring no water. However its only the water batteries that can generate energy for the longest time ranging to a few years to way longer. The voltage as mentioned before is around 1.5 volts but with a lower current output then a standard AA battery. The reason for this is because when no acids are used in the water the electrodes erode at a very slow rate and last many years, but this also means a lower current output is generated. One way to overcome this obstacle is to use acids in the water, which I prefer not to do since this diminishes the life span of the electrodes. Another method is simply to wire many water batteries in series to increase the current output. 

I have been working on perfecting these types of water and dry cell batteries for some time and all funding will be used to continue to do so, and if enough is raised I will sell individual made products such as the water powered clock or perpetual pendulum and so forth, things already shown in my videos.
