Katy is now 21 but at 17 she went through a lot of medical trouble
including many surgeries and long treatment courses due to cancer. She
thought it was over until in 2014 she was diagnosed with acute onset
stage one leukemia and is in another battle for her life. She has had
surgery and chemotherapy since and is fighting her hardest to beat
this disabling disease.
Katy has always lived an active life and continues to follow her
dreams as a horse trainer. Times get tough but she continues to move
forward. She is the type of person that would be there for you if you
needed her. Always caring even through her trying times.
It is hard for her to ask for help, so as her friends we are
doing it for her. Her medical bills from the previous medical battles
and her continuing cancer are piling up and she is unable to get ahead
of them.
