AFL Indonesia is taking an important but costly step in the development of Aussie Rules Football (AFL) in Indonesia. It will send its first team to the 2014 AFL International Cup (IC14) in Melbourne held in August and requests your assistance to support it’s quest.

Represented by a selection of Indonesian National players from the three main AFL Indonesia clubs the Jakarta Bintangs, Borneo Bears and Bali Gecko’s, up to 25 will be chosen to join the touring team forming the Indonesian Garuda’s National team who will play it out against some of the toughest competing International teams from all over the world.

In preparation over the past 4 to 5 years of AFL development and training within their own individual clubs, these dedicated young gentlemen will be granted a trip of a lifetime to showcase their new found skills at the home of the AFL while representing their mother country. As you could imagine, the costs involved in sending the Indonesian touring team to Australia including accommodation and travel to and from games is a huge requirement from three independent non-profit clubs. Along with many years of fundraisers, raffles, private donations and sponsors, we need your further support to realize what was once only a distant dream.
