Who is Crafternoon ATX?

We are an earth-focused art studio, offering unique art programming to children ages 5-12. Crafternoon ATX is a safe space for kids to learn about themselves through creativity, learn how to be apart of community and care for the nature that surrounds us.

Our studio supports artists and educators of color, indigenous instructors and herbalists, and members of the LGBTQIA+ to lead workshops and camps. Students are inspired by stories, immersed in culture, exploring the outdoors and learning through play. Small camp groups allow our teachers to make personal connections with the children and their families. We want to offer the best guidance and care each of us can give.

 Crafternoon ATX is now officially an AISD vendor! Field trips with us consists of a 2 hour story-book inspired art workshop. Students will be led through a structured project that allows plenty of room for imagination and creative control. We are so excited to continue working with the amazing teachers of our public schools and their class!

Crafternoon ATX needs your support to keep our camp and after school programming running throughout the year. Your contribution goes towards supplies, specialty art workshops and scholarships for selected children to come to camp for free.

Crafternoon ATX is a non-profit, POC owned & operated art program for kids offering unique art experiences and personal connections to families in the community. Our curriculum is focused on outdoor exploration, team building and learning through play.
