Camp Crafternoon has grown and needs a larger workshop space for camp this summer. We are now operating with more teachers and campers than ever before. Yay!  This is an opportunity to expand our summer program into a new learning space located near the beautiful Patterson Park in Austin, TX. 

Your donation will not only help us cover the cost of the work space, but also  keep our pricing affordable for families, buy  new art supplies and replace any old and worn tools that we are ready to let go of. 

Our campers will have a comfortable, air conditioned work room with easy access to bathrooms, drinking water, cafeteria, theater room, playground and park where we can continue our outdoor learning and activities. Crafternoon is working together with the organizer of the building to grow a community in their space alongside other youth programs operating in their own classrooms. After taking a tour of the grounds, meeting the site coordinators and teachers, we feel that this is a place where we can thrive. 

With many of the arts funding being cut from schools, we are dedicated to creating an outlet where kids can explore creativity and learn from the artists that make Austin so colorful. Art is healing, it brings communities together and it speaks volumes.
